What sets Mont Alto engineering apart? Perhaps our greatest asset is our low student to faculty ratio. Engineering classes are typically filled with 15 to 20 students, and are always taught by a faculty member. This enables our students to have tremendous access to our experienced faculty, not a graduate assistant. The bottom line for the student is individualized attention, instruction, and opportunity to "tap into" a developed engineering knowledge base.
Combining this strength with the inherent beauty and serenity of our campus enables our students to select and develop within their engineering discipline. Personalized faculty advising opportunities provide our students a wealth of information and counsel with which they choose the engineering program that would be best suited for themselves. The choice is critical for success and must be made by every Penn State engineering student by the middle of their fourth semester of study.
