Daily Schedule (2 day week)

**January**
9	Meet in vision room for course introduction
11	Meet in vision room for assignment to work groups for the semester, specifically the integration team and public hearing roles. Also, there will be a review of these two assignments.
16	Students should begin to review the on-line materials for the transportation unit. These materials serve as an example of an STS analysis of a topic. You will do this on your own and complete the response pages by the specified dates.
18	Meet in the PicTel room for an in-class simulation on medical ethics. Please review the medical ethics unit before this class. By now you should have had at least one conference with your integration assignment teammate. Your first transportation unit response page is due on-line by noon today.
23	Meet in the PicTel room for an in-class introduction to the agricultural technology activity. You will be assigned to a farm group today and will do the first two years of the farm simulation. The remaining eight years of the simulation will be done out of class. you will be able to access the crop yields and prices every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You must have all ten years of the simulation completed by the morning of Feb. 6 when we will meet in the PicTel room to share results with other campuses.
25	You should have had several "meetings" with your public hearing group members by now. Questions can be sent to your instructors by e-mail at any campus. Your second transportation page is due by noon today.
30	Meet in vision room for progress reports on Integration and public hearing assignments.

Febuary
1 Third transportation unit response page due by noon on-line today

6 Meet in the PicTel room to share agricultural simulation results with each other and other campuses. Also, progress reports on assignments.

8 Work on your own. Bear in mind that the public Hearing is approaching fast. You should be consulting regularly with your public hearing group members. Also, a reminder that your Integration paper/presentation is due feb.27.

13 Fourth transportation unit response page is due by noon Today.

15 Meet in the PicTel room for an in-class simulation on deer management. Please review the deer management unit before this class.by now, your integration paper should be well in hand. You should have identified the central unifying theme and have most of the information needed to complete the assignment.

20 Meet in the Vision room for public hearing progress reports.

22 Transportation unit response pages are available on-line. Please access six of these (two from each campus) and offer a comment or two to the six authors via e-mail. This will be a part of your class participation grade.

27 Work on your own.

29 The integration paper/presentations are due on-line today. We will meet in the vision room to debrief the assignment and share the integration papers for your specific campus. Between now and March 14 find and read four integration paper/presentations (two from each of the other two campuses). Send a two paragraph e-mail message to the authors by way of response. Make sure you include these in your portfolio.
