Penn State Mont Alto English Program

One of the most common questions students interested in majoring in English ask is "What kind of job can I get?" Unfortunately, a lot of misinformation exists about the value of an English degree. These pages were created to help English students and potential English students better understand the wide range of opportunities that exist for graduates of an English program.

The two skills that underscore every degree program in English are communication and critical thinking skills. These are also two of the most valuable assets one can bring to the job market.
